The businesses
The list comes from Google Maps searches for concreters in towns across all eight states and territories (October 2025). Of 1,049 results we publish 1,006. 21 were the same business listed twice and are shown once; 22 were outside Australia or had no phone, website or social page.
Google gives businesses without a shop front (service-area businesses) the coordinates of the place that was searched. 300 listings are like this: we mark them as service-area businesses, show their pin as approximate and never invent an address.
The services
In October 2026 we read each business's website (home page and up to three inner pages). 546 websites could be read, 102 were down, parked or now belong to someone else (we removed those links) and 22 blocked automatic reading. When a website names a service we quote the sentence and link to the page. When there's no website, services are assigned from the type of business and labelled as our assumption.
What we don't do
- No invented reviews, star ratings or "verified" badges. A Google rating is shown only with five or more reviews and labelled as Google data.
- No "open 24/7" unless Google Maps says so.
- No paid placements: order depends on the type of business and how much it tells about itself.
The prices
Price ranges come from public Australian cost guides, mainly whatsthedamage.com.au (checked October 2026, GST incl.). State figures apply each capital city's price index to the national table. Where no reliable public price exists (concrete pumping hire, cutting, kerbing, sealing) we say so instead of guessing.
